Founded in 1993 AND 1 began as a school project for partners Seth Berger, Jay Coen Gilbert and Tom Austin while graduate students at Wharton School of Business. AND 1 rocketed to the top in the mid 90's when NBA Star Stephon Marbury becamse their first spokesman, and later in 1998 a videotape was released containing street ball stunts performed by the player Marquise Kelly. This later led to AND 1 being the main brand for street ball. |
